Dr. Cameron Develops Consortium on Moral Decision-Making for 2023

Dr. Cameron will be launching the Consortium on Moral Decision-Making starting in the 2023-2024 academic year. This consortium is jointly sponsored by the Rock Ethics Institute, College of the Liberal Arts, and Social Science Research Institute, with additional support from the McCourtney Institute for Democracy and Philosophy Department. The Consortium will build out from the existing Moral Agency and Moral Development Initiative that Dr. Cameron spearheads at the Rock Ethics Institute (and which has supported events such as the Expanding Empathy Speaker Series, the Moral Psychology Research Group conference in 2017, and more). The goal of the Consortium will be to connect researchers across disciplines who study work that is broadly related to moral and ethical decision-making, to foster new interdisciplinary collaborations (e.g., papers, grant applications) and position Penn State as a hub for moral decision-making research. The Consortium will involve regular workshops, meeting groups, conference events, grant support for faculty and students, and more. More details to come, watch this space!
