Maryam Amini

Maryam is a graduate student in Neuroscience, interested in the neural mechanisms of empathy. Her current research investigates the dynamics of empathy within patient-clinician interactions. Previously, she collaborated with Dr. Tor Wager at Dartmouth College, focusing on pain and placebo neural mechanisms. She received her bachelor’s in Neuroscience with summa cum laude honors and distinction from the University of Colorado Boulder.
